Join our dynamic team at Monarch Casino Resort & Spa, where we are looking for a dedicated 24/7 Culinary Supervisor. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a vibrant, high-energy kitchen environment that aims to surpass the expectations of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
As the second-in-command in the kitchen, you will oversee food production and take on the Executive Chef's responsibilities in their absence. Your role will include:
- Participating in the recruitment, training, and management of kitchen personnel; conducting performance evaluations and addressing staff concerns.
- Designing menus and recipes while streamlining food production processes for optimal efficiency and quality.
- Implementing purchasing guidelines, managing inventory requisitions, and ensuring proper storage and waste management protocols.
- Training kitchen and service staff on food preparation techniques and accommodating special dietary requirements; assisting in staff scheduling based on operational forecasts and budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
Guest Service and Professionalism:
Uphold exceptional standards for customer service, leveraging extensive industry knowledge to guarantee consistency and quality.
Communication Skills:
Foster effective verbal and non-verbal communication with kitchen staff, front-of-house personnel, and management; demonstrate the ability to comprehend and follow written instructions with minimal oversight.

Navigate diverse personalities with professionalism, maintaining ethical standards and avoiding conflicts.
Problem Solving and Quality Assurance:
Evaluate and enhance operational practices, proactively addressing conflicts and improving product and service quality.
