Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PCU

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to fill a PCU position in Seattle, Washington.

Job Details:
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Discipline: RN
  • Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Weekends as needed
  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Holiday Requirements: Yes, expectation is to work holidays as needed for fill in holes, especially on nights
Requirements:
  • WA License
  • 1 year of experience
  • Must have strong Neuro skills
  • Progressive care trained
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Neuro experience preferred
  • Highly prefer art line and lumbar drain experience
Additional Details:
  • Floating Requirements: Yes, Neuro PCU, acute care MS, rare to CCU to care for PCU or med surg level of care. First to float.
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • # Beds 21
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:3 PCU 1:4 med surg (split PCU and Med Surg unit)
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Seizures, strokes, neurosurgeries, renal transplants, lumbar drains, art lines. Continuous EEG set up by EEG tech - instructions on cart once set up
