Job Summary:The Wet Finisher is a key member of our construction team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects. As a Wet Finisher, you will be working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results and meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
General housekeeping and waste disposal throughout the shift
Collect and prepare materials as needed
Assist during concrete pour process as needed
Level poured concrete using bull floats, boards, or screeds
Finish product using light broom, rake, heavy broom, swirl broom, trowel machine, or other tools as appropriate
Secure or cover finished product
Clean overflow of concrete forms
Operate various types of equipment such as hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power tools
Pour and screed beds with bed carts
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, tools, and equipment
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
1-2 years of previous general construction experience preferred
Experience with concrete finishing, bull floats, and trowel machines preferred
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to use standard construction tools
Ability to read, or be trained to read, blueprints
Ability to work on a team
Highly dependable with strong work ethic
Ability to understand, follow, and convey verbal instructions
Ability to adapt to changes in work schedules, tasks, or processes
