Avalon Health Care Management Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Avalon Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to provide compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will participate in the development, implementation, and modification of comprehensive care plans for our residents.
  • You will practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for the delivery of patient care and related services.

Qualifications:
  • You must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the practicing state.
  • You must demonstrate understanding of state and Federal rules and regulations governing practices within the facility.
  • You must have ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, personal growth, and development.
  • You must demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
  • You must have proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents, and family members.
  • You must have basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software.
  • You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • You must pass a criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements.

Benefits:
  • Full-time employees are eligible for 401K, medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Part-time employees are eligible for 401K and other benefits, excluding medical.

Minimum and Maximum Pay:
  • Minimum pay is $36.00.
  • Maximum pay is $41.95.

Placement within the wage range is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.
