Cyber Security Strategist

Pioneer Search is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Consultant to lead critical cybersecurity assessments across a diverse portfolio of companies within a global investment firm. As a key member of our value creation team, you will be responsible for leading comprehensive cybersecurity reviews and audits, assessing the current state of security controls and frameworks, and identifying cyber gaps. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing actionable remediation strategies to ensure the security posture of our portfolio companies.

• Lead annual cybersecurity reviews and audits, assessing the current state of security controls and frameworks.
• Conduct gap analysis and develop strategic action plans to address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders (CTOs, CISOs) at portfolio companies to ensure cybersecurity strategies align with business objectives.
• Present detailed findings and recommendations to portfolio company leadership and drive execution of remediation plans.
• Manage security assessments as part of the firm's value creation team, responsible for ensuring cybersecurity best practices across the entire portfolio.
• Assist with pre-investment due diligence when required, providing insights into cybersecurity risks for potential acquisitions.
