As an Attorney, your responsibilities will include performing legal research, drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions, representing clients in court, and offering legal counsel and support. You will collaborate closely with senior attorneys and engage in complex, high-stakes cases.

REMOTE ROLE (CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA FOR CLIENT MEETINGS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on matters related to construction defects.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and various legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings concerning construction defects.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on construction defect issues.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams to formulate case strategies.
  • Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions.
  • Keep abreast of developments in construction defect laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Admitted to the Bar and in good standing in California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction defect litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction defect laws, regulations, and legal principles.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, and writing capabilities.
  • Strong oral advocacy skills with the ability to effectively represent clients in court.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with case management software is a plus.

The compensation for this position is up to $140,000, accompanied by comprehensive benefits and a remote work arrangement.
