Job Summary:

Tjm Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Laborer to join our team on a first shift schedule. As a Maintenance Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refurbish and maintain housing units, including cleaning, patching walls, painting, and replacing broken items.
  • Perform basic carpentry work, including mowing and landscaping of properties during warmer periods and snow removal in winter.
  • Respond to work orders from tenants in public housing units to fix items and perform other tasks as needed.
  • Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or handyman role.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
