Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the production of agars by assisting in various operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include loading materials, ensuring quality control, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate assigned machinery safely and efficiently, performing basic maintenance and promptly reporting any equipment issues to the Supervisor or Lead.
- Gather necessary materials from the warehouse or staging area to support production needs.
- Organize the production line, ensuring material availability, estimating progress, and scheduling breaks in alignment with production timelines while prioritizing safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of your work, checking for quality and compliance, and monitoring products for defects while assisting with inventory management.
- Dispense required additives to media accurately and conduct pH balance techniques as necessary, investigating and resolving potential production issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as mandated.
- Report any property damage or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist, or Senior Management without delay.
- Complete production tasks promptly and in accordance with departmental schedules.
