As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practice into daily care.
- Masters of Science in Nursing.
- Post Bachelor's Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization.
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
- Current BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as an ARNP in cardiology services preferred or ARNP with previous RN experience in cardiology.
