Job Overview

Daily Responsibilities:

This position involves executing repairs and preventive maintenance on all operational and production machinery, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The individual will troubleshoot and rectify all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery, with a particular emphasis on electrical systems. Additionally, the role includes maintaining thermoforming machinery and assisting in the setup and assembly of new equipment. Regular inspections of equipment will be conducted to identify potential issues, leaks, or malfunctions, which will be reported to the Maintenance Supervisor. A significant portion of the responsibilities will involve machine troubleshooting.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience in a comparable production or manufacturing setting (experience in plastics is advantageous, but a manufacturing background is essential).
    • Proficiency in electrical mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working with a Preventative Maintenance schedule.
