Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility to assess and treat patients with wounds.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with wounds.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest wound care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care.
