Join Central Ohio Primary Care as a Family Medicine Physician

Central Ohio Primary Care, the largest independent physician-owned primary care group in the US, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join a growing practice in Chillicothe.

The Practice:

Our practice is located at 457 Shawnee Lane, Chillicothe, OH 45601.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 pm.

We have a growing patient population.

Well-established patient base and reputation.

Full spectrum practice - pediatric to geriatric patient care.

Special interest in Endocrine, Diabetes, COPD, and Sports Medicine a plus.

We have engaged partners and good mentors.

We use the EMR system - Epic

Requirements:

Doctor Medicine (MD/DO).

Completion of three year Family Medicine Residency.

Board-certified or Board-eligible in Family Medicine.

Extensive medical knowledge, including understanding various diseases, their diagnoses and appropriate treatments, and preventive healthcare methods

Excellent communication skills. Must be able to clearly explain complex medical conditions and treatments and listen to a patient's concerns with empathy.

Effective problem-solving abilities are essential in this role. A physician must be able to analyze a patient's symptoms and medical history, make accurate diagnoses and chart the best course of treatment.

The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain patience while dealing with patients of all ages, backgrounds and temperaments is of utmost importance.
