Job Summary

The RN Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all in-service education at Hallmark Manor (WA) in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing associates and other staff members.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and in-service education to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of associate training and in-service education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of education initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in education.
Requirements
  • Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing) and current licensure/registration in applicable State.
  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience and teaching/education experience preferred.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
