Job Description

**About the Role**

Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and GitHub.
  • Develop and maintain complex infrastructure programmatically, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and features, and recommend improvements to our infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience working with GCP, with a proven track record of building complex infrastructure programmatically.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IaC tools Terraform and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of GCP networking services, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Virtual Private Network (VPN), Cloud Interconnect, Virtual Network (Vnet), and Cloud Load Balancing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud service offerings, including Data, Analytics, AI/ML on GCP.
  • Demonstrated experience with at least three of the following key services: Big Query, Composer, Vertex AI, Document AI, Agent Builder, DataProc, Data Catalog, Notebook.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools for network provisioning and configuration.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud service offerings on Security, Data Protection, and Security policy implementations.
  • Basic understanding of Cloud computing concepts, including landing zone and Blueprints.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cloud certification on GCP.
  • Exposure to Cloud governance and logging/monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts, and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) principles.
  • Proficient in container-based solution services, with experience handling large-scale Kubernetes-based infrastructure build-outs.
  • Experience in scripting (Shell, Python).
