Exciting Certified PMHNP Position Available North of Austin, TX

We are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in a vibrant outpatient environment located just north of Austin, TX. This role offers flexibility with options to work with both Child/Adolescent and Adult populations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive mental health care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Manage a diverse patient panel, focusing on conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
- Conduct follow-up sessions, ensuring quality care and support for patients.
The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, except for Tuesdays, which will be from 10 AM to 7 PM. On-call responsibilities will be shared among behavioral health providers, with an expected rotation of 1-2 times per year.
Patient CareIn this role, you will typically see 16-17 patients per day, with follow-up sessions lasting approximately 25 minutes. The clinic utilizes Athena EMR for efficient patient management.
QualificationsApplicants must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a PMHNP in an outpatient setting.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
