MT-Microbiology Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled MT-Microbiology Lead to join our team at Mcare Agency LLC. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for leading our microbiology department and ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the microbiology department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve laboratory processes and patient outcomes.
• Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on microbiology techniques and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in microbiology and laboratory medicine.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Physical Sciences.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• National MT Certification.
• Five years of experience as a Medical/Microbiology Technologist.
