Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations from volunteer donors at our fixed site locations. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with donors to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood donations from volunteer donors in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with your team to create a positive and supportive environment for donors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the quality and safety of the blood donations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
  • Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs.

  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience.
