As a Cath Lab Technologist at Next Move Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
You will assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR).
- Facilitate effective communication among staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care using the SBAR communication model.
- Assist patients throughout the entire procedure process, from transport to site preparation, sterile procedures, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Manage emergent cases and ensure accurate, timely documentation and patient records.
- Demonstrate flexibility and organization, especially in high-stress situations.
- Collaborate with team members and provide orientation as needed.
Requirements:
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within six months of hire).
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certifications preferred.
- 4 years of Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred.
- Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating required.
