Occupational Therapist

    University Orthopedics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and mobility after injury or illness.

    About the Role:

• Evaluate and assess patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction to develop personalized treatment plans
• Design and implement effective occupational therapy interventions to improve functional abilities and promote patient participation
• Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

    Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of RI
• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehabilitation preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
