Wound Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wound Care Physician to join our team at AHN Jefferson (Bethel Park). As a Clinical Medical Director, you will be responsible for leading and building your own practice within our Wound Care Center, with full administrative support to focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the clinical, operational, and financial results of the Wound Care Center
- Collaborate with affiliated medical institutions for services such as hospitalization and emergency medical services
- Participate in regional and national conferences related to wound care improvement and new wound care information
- Ensure HBO chamber quality and safety, including documentation of approved indications and physician supervision requirements
- Provide continuing wound care education to staff and community, including new advances in wound healing and product reviews
- Present to various audiences to enhance visibility of the WCC and support local medical and community education and awareness
- Schedule and participate in one-on-one discussions about the wound care program with primary care and surgical specialties
- Act as spokesperson for wound care program services when local media opportunities arise
- Build relationships with interdisciplinary specialties to ensure timely consultative patient care needs
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA license obtained prior to start
- ACLS/BLS certification
