About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our commercial plumbing and piping projects. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day work activities of plumbing/pipefitter mechanics and helpers, ensuring projects are completed safely and in accordance with budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the work activities of plumbing/pipefitter mechanics and helpers
  • Ensure projects are completed safely and on time
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders
  • Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
  • Work safely and encourage others to do so
Requirements
  • Current or previous leadership experience as a Foreman working on commercial projects
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
  • Master's or Journeyman Plumbing License (preferred, not required)
  • Knowledge of applicable code and general HVAC systems
  • Ability to install work from drawings, submittals, and specifications
  • Ability to direct crews to install work safely with quality and efficiency
  • Ability to read and understand project-related documents in the English language
  • Knowledge of basic construction/shop math
  • OSHA 10-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Foresight and problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions with information on hand
  • Ability to communicate and deal effectively with teammates in other trades
  • Experience and demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office and internet usage
