Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is a full-time, permanent position made up of 8-13 week travel assignments. Responsibilities:

As a Cath Lab RN, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures, technologies, and best practices in cath lab nursing.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment.
  • Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • One year of RN experience in an acute care setting, with a preference for 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience.
