As a Fitness Consultant with Equinox in Sunnyside, NY, you will be part of an industry-leading team that offers unparalleled personal training expertise. With our commitment to professional performance and education, we provide our trainers with the tools they need to excel in their roles.
CompensationThe compensation package for this position includes a competitive salary range of $39.50-$94.00 per session and $16 per hour for non-session work. In addition, eligible trainers may earn bonus opportunities, including new trainer bonuses, tri-annual incentive bonuses, senior trainer annual bonuses, and member referral bonuses.
Job Responsibilities- Build and maintain an active client base through effective marketing and sales strategies
- Manage and maintain accurate schedules, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within internal scheduling systems
- Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products to provide exceptional customer service
- Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members
- Create and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clients
- Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through our certification reimbursement program
- Eligibility to begin a higher tier and pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer and technology skills
