Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate test results, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood analysis, to ensure accurate and timely results
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to optimize workflows and improve efficiency
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate results
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science
- Certification as MT (ASCP)/CLS(NCA) or subspecialty certification required
- New graduates will be given a one-year grace period from their graduation date to achieve proper ASCP/CLS certification
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy; detail-oriented, verbal communication skills
