About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Camp Counselor-Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of campers and provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience. You will also gain valuable skills and experience in leadership, communication, and teamwork.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is $25,000-$35,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a competitive hourly rate and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
As a Camp Counselor-Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Camp Director with daily tasks and activities
- Supervising a group of campers during swim time and other activities
- Participating in all camp activities and events
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for campers
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience working with children or in a similar role
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it before the summer begins
