Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Technician, you'll be responsible for providing direct patient care, including:
- Performing delegated duties related to patient comfort and personal needs
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
- Assisting with patient mobility and transfers
- Providing emotional support and communication with patients and families
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification required
- Experience: One year of patient care experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the last three years
