We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Street Ambassador. As a vital member of our community, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our service district.

Job Summary

This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, identifying and addressing litter, graffiti, and other environmental hazards. Your proactive approach and dedication to customer service will make a significant impact on our community's image and overall experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Litter Collection: Remove litter, fast food bags, cups, containers, cigarette butts, and other debris from sidewalks, street gutters, and alleys. Ensure all trash is properly disposed of and recyclables are sorted.
  • Graffiti Removal: Identify and remove graffiti from light posts, trash cans, news boxes, and other public infrastructure. Utilize provided equipment and cleaning solutions to restore surfaces to their original condition.
  • Weed Control: Regularly inspect and remove weeds from tree wells, cracks in sidewalks, vacant lots, and other areas. This includes pulling isolated weeds and applying herbicides as needed.
  • Hospitality and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging pedestrians, offering directions, and engaging with visitors. Foster a positive and welcoming environment that showcases our company's values.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately document incidents, including broken infrastructure, graffiti on private property, and daily accomplishments. Utilize smartphones to capture images and record statistics for tracking progress.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent physical abilities, including the capacity to walk or traverse continuously during an eight-hour shift. Additionally, you should be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions with provided inclement weather gear. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for creating reports and interacting with colleagues and customers.
