We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities- Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities.
- Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers on physical therapy techniques and modalities.
- Maintain current knowledge of standard physical therapy practices for various patient populations.
- Provide competent services, including treatment, and maintain established department/service line productivity standards.
- Document patient information accurately and timely, in accordance with regulatory, facility, and department requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding patient needs, abilities, and goals.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and promote ongoing learning for staff.
- Current state Physical Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Clinical background experience in a healthcare setting.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
