  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for a diverse range of commercial construction projects, utilizing takeoff software to create comprehensive bid scopes with precise quantities and dimensions.
  • Collaborate with various vendor representatives to create accurate quotes based on specifications.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with General Contractors and vendors to create bidding opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate with General Contractors, Architects, Vendors, and other stakeholders about issues with plans and specs to ensure bid proposal accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Navigate and comprehend medium and large commercial construction drawings.
  • Ensure bid proposals comply with specifications.
  • Meet deadlines and manage a high volume of estimates, typically 5-10 per week.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to read and navigate through architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Mid-Level experience in Excel.
  • Mid-Level experience in Bluebeam Revu (Preferred).
  • OST Pro (Onscreen Takeoff) experience (Preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management (Preferred).
  • Estimating experience (Preferred).
  • Able to multi-task and meet multiple strict deadlines simultaneously.

**Work Environment:**

Manning Materials, Inc. offers a hybrid remote work arrangement once training is complete.
