The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse.
HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, Florida. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement, and inpatient rehabilitation. We are a recipient of the American Heart Association's Gold Fit Friendly Designation.
