DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified part-time faculty to teach courses in Industrial Design. The School of Design is introducing a minor in Industrial Design that promotes interdisciplinary student learning across design, electronics, and materials workshops.

We are seeking instructors with a science, engineering, or industrial design background who can teach a course in haptics. As part of the course, students will build and use a one-dimensional haptic device.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the discipline or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in the discipline
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of five years demonstrated relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse learning environment
