The Maintenance Repairer plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities at Mondelēz International. This position involves a range of responsibilities focused on the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and provide both mechanical and electrical support during assigned shifts.
  • Install, test, and repair various plant equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and safety assessments on all equipment and machinery.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on production equipment and plant power systems, including PLCs, I/O systems, motors, and instrumentation.
  • Engage in basic mechanical tasks such as sheet metal layout, fabrication, and maintenance of buildings and grounds, including welding and pipefitting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding maintenance activities.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and updates to existing equipment through the review of manuals, schematics, and technical literature.
  • Provide emergency repair services as needed across all areas of the facility.
  • Utilize various fabrication shop equipment, including drill presses, hydraulic presses, welders, and milling machines.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Work in diverse conditions, including exposure to dusty environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Lift weights up to 50 lbs as required.
  • Work from elevated platforms and ladders, as well as navigate around and within equipment to fulfill job duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required, with certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Certifications are preferred.
  • Work authorization is mandatory.
  • Experience with Autonomous Maintenance and Progressive Maintenance systems is advantageous.
