Chief Nursing Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Chief Nursing Officer for our Behavioral Health unit at Haven Behavioral Healthcare. In this position, you will oversee patient care provision and serve as a vital resource for direct care staff.

As a RN House Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating responses to incidents, supporting management with staffing and education activities, and providing direct patient care when necessary.

• Oversight of patient care provision, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to patients
• Serving as a resource to direct care staff, providing guidance and support to promote effective teamwork
• Coordination of on-site response to incidents, errors, and sentinel events
• Supporting management with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned
• Providing direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A strong background in psychiatric nursing and management
• Experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably with experience in acute psychiatric care
• Absentee management skills, including conflict resolution and employee relations
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
