About the RoleThis specialist will work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to assess student behavior, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress. Responsibilities include conducting observations, updating behavior plans, and completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students with behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement behavior intervention plans for students with behavioral challenges
- Assess student behavior, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with outside agencies and service providers to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and attend IEP meetings to review reports
