Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of printed circuit boards (PCBs) with high-speed and RF traces. This is a part-time position with a possibility of being on call for longer periods to support urgent designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and layout of complex PCBs with 10+ layers
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to find optimal layout solutions
  • Routing high-speed (10+ Gbps) and/or RF (6+ GHz) traces
  • Calculating impedance characteristics and board stackup requirements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 10-20 years of experience in PCB design and layout
  • Expertise in Cadence OrCAD PCB Professional Software
  • US Citizenship required
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, plus benefits including 401K, medical, dental, and vision, and sick time as applicable to state law.
