Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drummer Tech to join our team at Bilfinger Inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load trucks of empty packages from box trailers, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Stage, label, and prepare empty containers for packaging, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Package final products in totes, drums, pails, and other containers as required, taking samples for analytical testing.
  • Deliver samples to the lab and communicate with lab technicians regarding results, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Operate forklifts to move and store final product packages, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Manage rework containers by identifying and ensuring proper labeling and storage on drum pads and in warehouses, as necessary.
  • Complete necessary documents related to packaging final products, spotting raw materials for offloads, and empty trailers for loading, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to climb ladders, perform elevated work, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication with operations, lab technicians, and management.
  • Fork truck certification is required, with shuttle wagon and yard mule training provided by Shuttle wagon and Yard Mule, respectively.
