Job Overview

As an Occupational Therapist within our Phys MED Therapy Occup department, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome cognitive, physical, and psychosocial challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), Therapy Technicians, and Student Interns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required within two (2) weeks of hire.
