We are seeking a Water Engineering Designer to support our TYLin Water Team in the design and planning of complex and innovative wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, and water treatment and distribution projects in the Southwest Region.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the PMs or Client Managers to support various water and wastewater engineering projects and will also provide field investigation and condition assessment support of existing infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include engineering design and consulting for complex assignments, including hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, utility plans, technical specifications, and cost estimating.

The successful candidate will be tasked with the preparation of design and construction documents for wastewater and water treatment facilities, and conveyance and distribution projects.

As a member of our team, you will participate in assignments, sometimes in a lead role in particular areas of expertise, including peer mentorship of design and consulting staff.

Regular meetings and presentations of project deliverables to clients are a key part of this role.

A S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering consulting performing studies, design, and construction services for municipal clients.

Demonstrated experience developing designs and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects is preferred but not required.
