Mixologist and Beverage Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Schmidt Family Restaurant. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

• Drink Preparation and Service: Take drink orders from customers and servers, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes, mix ingredients for cocktails, and serve wine and beer.
• Customer Service: Provide Blazin' Service to customers, exceed their expectations, and prevent Customer Stampede by ensuring that customers receive prompt and attentive service.
• Bar Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and operate the bar, including washing and sterilizing glassware and preparing garnishes for drinks.
• Point of Sale and Cash Handling: Ring drink orders into the register, collect payment, and make changes.

• Experience: Preferably a minimum of 1 year in a bartender position within the restaurant business.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length.
• Knowledge and Skills: Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes. Must be service and team-oriented, having tremendous ability to work with others in a team environment.
