Correctional Sergeant

Job Summary
As a Correctional Sergeant with MSCCN, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our correctional facilities. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and direct the work of correctional officers and inmates
• Conduct security inspections and investigations
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Transport inmates to various locations
• Assist with inmate visitation and supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in correctional security or law enforcement, including one year in a leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of public safety methods and techniques, as well as the ability to write reports and read rules and regulations, is also required.
