Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruiter to join our team at Joliet Staffing. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and onboarding qualified job candidates for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with client hiring managers to understand their needs and develop creative sourcing strategies to recruit high-caliber candidates.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain top talent in the market.
  • Interview and assess candidates' qualifications through behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations.
  • Develop a network of ready-to-work candidates to meet current and anticipated client needs.
  • Facilitate interviews between candidates and clients, including candidate preparation and client briefs.
  • Develop long-term relationships with temporary employees, providing career coaching and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of employee interactions via telephone, Tempworks software, and email.
  • Elevate employee relation concerns to Branch Manager and Human Resources.
  • Work closely with employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager to perform new employee check-ins, conduct safety walks, and attend client meetings.
  • Implement and support safety programs.
  • Serve as a resource for employees on benefits and assist with open enrollment.
  • Track compliance and ensure employee pay accuracy.
  • Administer exit interviews and monitor findings.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in the staffing industry preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Proficient problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease.
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Strong work ethic motivated by results.
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines and identify situations requiring input/support for Upper Management.
