Position Overview
CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatric Psychologist to become a vital part of the Pediatric Psychology Division. This role includes an appointment as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
The position primarily focuses on clinical responsibilities, while also allowing for involvement in research, education, and administrative duties through collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Health. Faculty members are encouraged to present at Grand Rounds and to mentor residents in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and psychology interns during their clinical experiences in behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities- Conducting diagnostic psychological assessments, individual therapy, and family counseling for children and adolescents in the Pediatric Psychology clinic.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across pediatric specialties.
- Contributing to the development of new clinics and programs.
- Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from APA-accredited programs.
- Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in child or pediatric psychology or equivalent experience.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Preferred training and/or experience with parent interventions and children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, or a willingness to receive training in these areas.
