Job Summary:

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom, guiding young children to independence, and partnering with parents on their child's journey.

About the Role:

In this role, you will:

  • Create and lead a model classroom that fosters independence and develops competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents.
  • Partner with parents to understand their child's needs and develop a personalized learning plan.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and implement new ideas and strategies in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • A 3-6 Montessori diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with young children in a group setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
