Donor Center Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations from volunteer donors at our fixed site locations. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood donations from volunteer donors in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborate with your team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for donors
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the quality and safety of the blood donations
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and respond to their needs and concerns
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in a public setting
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience
- Prior leadership experience
