Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our client's innovative team in Wyoming, NY. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery, as well as collaborating with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and program production jobs and machines per schedule as directed by Plant Management.
  • Maintain facilities and manufacturing equipment as needed and per Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Troubleshoot and repair processes, systems, and machinery.
  • Test equipment and processes to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to resolve production quality issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist Engineering with the development and specification of processes, tools, jigs, fixtures, and automated machinery to manufacture prototypes and production orders.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a related field or minimum three (3) year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems/machinery.
  • Experience with PLC controls/programming.
  • General maintenance skills relating to building maintenance and automated manufacturing machinery.
  • Superlative troubleshooting skills including resolving issues relating to production processes, equipment, materials, and components.
