Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, utilizing proper technique and providing clear instructions to patients.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Rotate within departments and clinics to ensure proper coverage.
  • Assist radiologists and medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked, adhering to Infection Control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's Core values.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
  • Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
