About the Role

The Database Engineer will be responsible for upgrading, installing, and maintaining MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas for an enterprise cloud group within a large healthcare payer company.

They will also be involved in deployments and ensuring the security aspects of the database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Upgrade, install, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas
  • Understand and implement security measures such as SSL and LDAP
  • Create clusters from scratch and replicate them
  • Integrate MongoDB with monitoring tools like Snowflake and Splunk
  • Work with MongoDB Atlas
  • Develop automated scripts using Python
  • Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a MongoDB admin/manager
  • Proficiency in upgrading, installing, and maintaining MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas
  • Strong security experience with SSL and LDAP
  • Ability to create clusters and replicate them
  • Knowledge of integrating MongoDB with monitoring tools
  • Experience with MongoDB Atlas
  • Proficiency in creating automated scripts using Python
  • Strong understanding of Linux servers
Preferred Qualifications
