The Clinical Liaison at The Glenview at Pelican Bay plays a crucial role in evaluating potential residents/guests in healthcare facilities to determine eligibility for services and assess suitability for placement.
This role also involves establishing, nurturing, and sustaining essential relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, senior living providers, and home health agencies, to support business development and enhance community occupancy.
The Clinical Liaison will contribute to all marketing outreach efforts for the Health Center.Key Responsibilities:
Participate in developing and achieving the community's sales and occupancy targets aligned with the marketing strategy.
Foster positive relationships with discharge planners, physicians, families, senior living providers, and home health agencies while promoting Premier Place's offerings.
Engage actively with prospective residents/guests, their families, and key influencers (such as physicians and attorneys) to drive sales activities necessary to meet established goals.
This includes regular personal interactions through various communication methods such as phone calls, home or office visits, letters, and community tours.Stay informed about relevant operational, competitive, and organizational information to effectively address inquiries and convey the community's message.
Evaluate potential residents/guests by reviewing their medical records and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate admissions.
Communicate Premier Place's admission criteria and gather payer type information, including Medicare, Managed Care, and Private Pay. Participate in the development of annual marketing plans, competitive assessments, and the organization of marketing events. Qualifications:
A minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing or a related health field is preferred, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a sales/admissions role within skilled nursing, home health, or assisted living settings.
Must possess problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of healthcare insurance, including Medicare and Long-Term Care options.
To achieve admissions objectives, candidates should be comfortable with marketing presentations and have proven experience in community outreach programs.Proficiency with technology relevant to the position and its application in outreach strategies and communications with professionals, families, and potential residents/guests is essential.
Knowledge of the information and techniques necessary for assessing and treating health conditions, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, and preventive measures, is required. Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the elderly population is crucial. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Good visual and auditory acuity is required; strong verbal communication skills are essential. A professional demeanor is expected, with the ability to manage potentially stressful situations effectively.Familiarity with and adherence to guidelines related to the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations in all job aspects, including sales presentations and marketing materials, is required.
