We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) to provide therapy services to individuals and/or couples, with a focus on culturally competent care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish rapport with clients. They will also be knowledgeable of ethical and legal standards for therapy practice in California.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Attend weekly supervision (individual, triadic and/or group) as required by the BBS
  • Stay current with licensing requirements and best practices in the field
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Master of Social Work (MSW) or Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) in the State of California
  • Current AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal standards for therapy practice in California
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Applicants must maintain malpractice insurance
  • Applicants will use trauma-informed, ND and LGBTQ affirming practices
  • Ideal candidates will have a current case load of clients to bring to the practice
