Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized therapy services to patients based on their unique needs and medical direction.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient disabilities and develop plans for treatment and rehabilitation.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with department standards and medical-legal procedures.
- Train and educate other rehabilitation staff, nursing, and medical personnel on patient needs and rehabilitation services.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction activities, and program development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- CRT-Occupational Therapist, registered (OTR) - NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
